Natural Oil Based Wood Finishes and Stains
We recommend that two coats of hard wax oil are used to finish the floor. This gives a waterproof and treadfast finish. From there on maintenance is very easy, just sweep or hoover and gently mop the floor (for heavier soiling add Treatex floor care to your mop water).

Special Notes for floor selection and fitting: All our Oak flooring is kiln dried to approximately 10% moisture content. Boards are tongue and grooved on four sides and are machined, but not pre-finished. If the floor is to be fitted on concrete and glued down we recommend that widths do not go wider than 150mm. 190mm boards must always be screwed and plugged or face nailed.
