Homeoak Mix Pre-sanded
Thickness 19.3mm. Width 85 or 105mm mix. Length 0.80m to 1.5m
This is a perfect floor to glue down and is a mixture of grades, Character and Select. This floor is pre-sanded. The character has a few knots and cats paws but there are a lot of Select boards with hardly any knots, which mixed together makes for a very attractive floor at an attractive price. Often chosen for bathrooms and kitchens we have supplied this floor for large commercial offices where it looks sensational.

Tavern
Thickness 21mm. Width 150mm or 190mm. Length 1.5m to 2m
A lovely rustic floor, ideal for the cottage or older property, perfect in rustic barn conversions, with fantastic features - big knots, heart shake, a few worm holes and end splits and loads of character. It’s our favourite floor!

Character Single, Two or Three Width Mix
Thickness 21mm. Width 110mm, 150mm or 190mm. Length 1.5m plus
This floor has a lovely deep grain and plenty of knots up to 50mm ( 2”) to give it character but is not as rustic as the tavern. You can use it in a single width 110mm or 150mm, or mix two or three widths to give your floor a traditional and interesting look. Suitable for gluing up to 150mm wide, the 190mm wide boards will need to be secret nailed, face nailed or screwed and plugged on to battens.

Character Wide Boards

For a classic French oak wide board floor use these Character boards which will need to go on battens and be secret nailed, face nailed or screwed and plugged.

Character Filled and Pre-Sanded
Thickness 21mm. Width 150mm. Length 1.5m
This floor is still Character grade as above with knots and deep, wide grain but we have filled and sanded open knots to leave a very smooth finish. Suitable for glueing or secret nailing, you will not need to sand this floor at all after laying.

Select (Prime Grade) Single, Two or Three Width Mix
Thickness 21mm. Width 110/150/190mm. Length 1.5m plus
This classic floor is smooth as silk and looks great for clean modern living. Beautiful grain and fewer knots in this one (nothing over 25mm – 1”in.) Use in single width 110m or 150mm, or mix two or three widths as you wish. Can be glued up to 150mm width, the 190mm width will need to go on batten for secret nailing, face nailing or screwed and plugged.

Select Wide Boards

If you have a Georgian Rectory this is probably the floor for you! Using these clean grained classic wide boards gives a very special look to your floor. This floor will need to be fixed on battens and be face nailed or screwed and plugged.

Engineered Floor
Thickness 21mm (15mm+6mm Oak). Width 190/220mm. Length 0.95/1.9m
For those who want a wider board, which is also very suited to use with UFH we recommend using an engineered board, which is oak veneer over a birch and ply sandwich base. This is the only option for below grade situations or for properties more prone to damp, because engineered boards have much greater stability. We think these boards are the best on the market and are Character grade, filled and sanded. Like our solid boards they are t/g on all 4 sides with a micro bevel and unfinished.

Oak Square Edged, Kiln Dried, Pre-Planed
Thickness 24mm. Width 160/200mm. Length from 2m
Lovely and useful Oak planks with square edge, pre planed and kiln dried. No tongue and groove so this is ideal oak for all purposes, such as cladding beams, or making doors and furniture and doorframe linings.

Special notes for floor selection and fitting
All our Oak flooring is kiln dried to approximately 10% moisture content. Boards are tongue and grooved on four sides and are machined, but not pre-finished. If the floor is to be fitted on concrete and glued down we recommend that widths do not go wider than 150mm but 110mm is best. 190mm boards must always be screwed and plugged or face nailed.
